Alessandro Lo Giudice

Alessandro Lo Giudice was awarded a PhD in Physics in 2000. From 2000 to 2002 he held a Post-Doctoral fellowship at the University of Torino, working on material science. From 2002 to 2007 he was researcher at INFM (National Institute of Materials Physics). From 2007 to 2016 he was full-time researcher at the University of Torino and since 2016 he is associated professor.

The research activity is devoted to archaeometry, material characterization and diagnostic in cultural heritage field. In the last years he was the coordinator of many research projects mainly focused on the development of new analysis techniques for cultural heritage. Alessandro Lo Giudice published 106 ISI papers (H-index: 20, about 1300 citations, ResearchID: http://www.researcherid.com/rid/J-4567-2012). In 2012 he contributed to set up a spin-off of the University of Torino on cultural heritage (http://www.tecnart.unito.it/en/index.html).
